Enhanced Security Features
Store owners can now rest easy knowing their customers’ data is protected through multiple security measures. We’ve added IP address binding and device-specific tokens to prevent unauthorized access, even if tokens are somehow compromised.
Automatic Protection
Security is always our top priority. We’ve introduced more advanced security options (RSA-based) for stores that need extra protection.
The plugin now automatically handles security events like password changes, email updates, and user deletions by immediately revoking associated tokens.
This means store owners don’t have to manually manage security when users update their accounts or leave the platform.
Extended Token Lifetimes
We’ve listened to our users and extended the default token lifetime from 2 hours to 10 days, striking a better balance between security and user convenience. Your customers won’t need to log in as frequently while still maintaining strong security.
We have filters that can allow you to adjust the expiration time to your requirements.
Token Events
We’ve even added what we call token events that allows you to trigger a custom even when a token is created, validated or refreshed using action hooks.
Better Developer Support
We’ve added helpful debug logs so when something goes wrong, your developers can quickly figure out what happened. Plus, there’s a new tool in WooCommerce that lets you clear expired tokens with just a click.
Command Line Power
We also added comprehensive WP-CLI commands that help developers:
- List and view active tokens
- Create new tokens for testing
- Clean up expired tokens
- Force token invalidation when needed
